Ken & Sabrina

Meet Ken & Sabrina. I met Sabrina through our online military spouse club and she is just one great girl! Her husband Ken is also a pretty amazing guy. Ken is an active duty member of the USAF and Sabrina is a day care teacher. Ken and Sabrina married almost two years ago on the road- family and friends joined them for a few hours as they said their I do's and celebrated their union. Sabrina contacted me a few weeks ago and asked me if I could please do their 'wedding photos' as they really had none. I jumped at the chance when she asked me! I felt honored.

Ken and Sabrina are so in love with one another you can just see it in each of their photographs. They are trying to have a baby and I am just keeping my fingers crossed that God does bless them with a little bundle of joy! They would both make amazing parents.

Ok, enough chit chatting huh? Here are a few photographs from their session! You may view more under my facbebook fan page by clicking on the link to your right.

No distance can stop love...

This is one of my favorite photos y'all from a session I did this past week for Operation Love ReUnited. The love this couple has for one another brought not only myself to tears, but others as well. When he saw her standing there with her welcome home sign he ran as fast as he could picked her up and kissed her. Everyone at that moment in time started clapping, and all of the sudden even tho it was 30* outside you felt warmth. Its always such a beautiful moment to see a military member reunite with their loved one, whether it be a spouse, child, mother, its very moving.

A brand new year!

Hi everyone! I hope y'all had a blessed New Year. I am welcoming 2010 with open arms. It has been wonderful thus far. On Sunday, January 3, 2010 I was fortunate to photograph an Operation Love ReUnited session. I was moved to tears when I met Aubrey. Aubrey is 5 months pregnant and a newlywed. This was her first deployment. No one knows how hard it is to be alone, pregnant and have your husband deployed. I know because I endured that almost two years ago. That's why when I met her we just clicked. As I watched her check her I-Phone and constantly walk back and forth I wondered what crossed her mind. I know her heart was full of joy in knowing that she will see her husband once again. She lites up with excitement when they tell the wives and family to go ahead and head out to the flight line to greet your husband, son, father, etc. When her husband stepped out of the plane these were the moments I was blessed to capture.
