Yeah, I know, I know...

I've been slacking on posts. But my almost now two year old (wow, can't believe he'll be two soon) has been fighting a stomach bug. I have been busy with him and my husband caught pneumonia! Thank God we caught it early and he got better, still coughing but a lot better than last week. SOOOO ladies and gents that's why I haven't been around sorta speaking because my life is going 100mph. I have an upcoming beach/maternity session coming up this weekend! So more pictures to come.

I hope y'all have been doing fabulous! Thank you for visiting my blog.

Much love,

Lori Lee

Amy + Randy= Post Wedding Photographs

You have already met Amy and Randy. If you haven't, well, let me give you a little history with this amazing couple. Amy is my best-friend (more like a sister) we have endured SO much together and even tho we live hours away from each other we still make it a point to come and visit whenever possible. Randy is such am amazing guy. He has a super thick Southern accent and its super cute! I can't help but laugh at him when says "Y'all" sounds like he says "All" LOL. Its so cute! I wish I had a Southern accent. Anyway, these two are a hoot! From the moment we started their session to the very end we did nothing but laugh. As Randy made Amy laugh I started to laugh because her laugh is priceless she laughs like a little girl!

We went to one of my favorite beaches to capture these moments. I feel so honor that they'd consider me to do their post-wedding photographs. Here are a few from our session on Saturday! Thank you so much for looking and be sure to come back as I will post a few more pictures of them in the snow!!! Yes, in the snow!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

Yes, it snowed in Charleston, SC. On February 12, 2010 (my son's 12th birthday) Mother nature allowed us to have snow! We received 4.5 inches of snow and for those of us who have always lived in the South this was a treat. I grew up in an island- Puerto Rico, then in my teens my parents moved to Florida. My husband grew up in the mid-west therefore this snow fall was not something he was too impressed with- BUT he enjoyed it.

It was so nice to see the snow falling, and then as the night went on the snow fell harder and it covered everything! When we woke up we had 4.5 inches on the ground and everything looked absolutely gorgeous. Below are just some of the images I captured during and after the amazing snow fall we had.

Enjoy!

Awaiting for her baby boy Broly

Meet Laci. Laci is an Air Force wife and is expecting her first child, a baby boy who's name will be Broly. As I talked to her about her pregnancy and just listening to her explain how she felt and how excited she was about her pregnancy made me smile. She had been trying to get pregnant for months. Her husband and her had two failed pregnancies and they were scared that they would too lose Broly. She gives her praises to God that she's been able to carry Broly almost full term. Laci is not only a beautiful person on the outside she is a beautiful soul. Here are a few photographs from her session with me.

Charleston, SC and its beauty!

How blessed am I to live in such a gorgeous city so full of history. As I was watching the news yesterday, they had a report on the oldest church in the state of South Carolina and it just so happened to be in Charleston. The church was built in 1706 and its still standing today. They have of course remodeled some of it but the church and its members have tried to keep it in its original condition. I looked at my husband and asked him if he knew where this church was at (we are stationed here with the Air Force) he said he had no clue but to look it up, so I did. I found the church and to my dissapointment it was locked so I couldnt' get inside but oh my the gorgeous photo I captured of the church was this picture below. I love the way the sun was coming through the tree and how that old oak tree is still sitting there after 304 years!

Charleston is a city of beauty, charm and some parts of this city will take you back in time. I am not a nature photographer but this church captivated me. I hope that those of you who read my blog are moved by the beauty of this church. There is the link to the church and its history if you are intersted in researching it a bit further. Oh the beauty of old Charleston, South Carolina.
